Two figures, one male and one female, kneel side by side and raise conch shells to their lips. Finished in gold leaf, they rest on a circular base of broken amber and clear glass set in epoxy resin, with a blade laid at the front.
The piece is a contemporary answer to the monument of the Unknown Maroon: the call that gathers people, carried by two voices instead of one, and the shattered ground that call rises from.
